yatai
A small hosting platform for web apps.
yatai runs web apps for a small number of customers. Each app gets its own
subdomain, <app>.yatai.page, its own storage and database, and a
sign-in that the platform provides.
Email sent by apps on yatai
Apps may send transactional email only: messages a user of that app has asked for or expects, such as sign-in links, password resets, receipts and notifications they turned on. Each app sends from its own subdomain, signed with DKIM and covered by DMARC.
- No marketing, bulk or unsolicited mail, and no purchased or rented address lists.
- Every recipient is a user of the app that writes to them.
- Apps cannot reach the mail service directly. All mail goes through the platform, which limits each app and each customer to a small daily volume.
- Addresses that bounce or complain are suppressed and never retried.
- An app whose mail draws bounces or complaints is paused until its owner fixes the cause.
If you received mail from an address under yatai.page that you did not ask for,
write to abuse@yatai.dev and include the message with its
headers. We act on every report, and the app stays paused while we look.
